We just returned from a quick overnight trip to Portland, Maine. In December, we visited for what I'm going to say the first time (though it wasn't - we'd been there once before, though I don't have many memories from that trip). During that first trip, ee took the kids on a Polar Express ride on the Maine Narrow Gauge museum.
Though it was freezing cold on that trip, we all fell in love with the city. This time was more of the same. The old buildings and cobblestone streets really made me feel like I was in Europe.
Though I brought my camera with me, I only took photos at the very end when we decided to explore the docks...
